This short is an apology to oneself. It is a short experimental film about an insecure young adult who tries to justify their inability to come out. This film was written and produced in 1 week to enter Norwich Queer Fest 2025.

Santo Carneiro
Santo is a recent graduate of the Norwich University of the Arts. Although they began their filmmaking journey late in life at 24 years old, their passion for storytelling has been present for as long as they can remember. Their ultimate goal is to become a screenwriter, but like all independent filmmakers, they also direct, edit and produce their own films.
Throughout university, Santo balanced their studies with an administrator job, sharpening their organisation and multitasking skills. They now split their time between working as a receptionist and creating content. At the same time, they continue to grow as a filmmaker while developing their passion projects and working as a freelance Assistant Camera.
Santo gravitates towards horror and thriller when writing, though Santo’s drama script won the Perfect Strangers local screenwriting competition and performed well on the festival circuit.
Santo likes to collaborate with other creators and see what comes out of it, building and creating amazing worlds with our different experiences and views.
